New winter routes from Paris to the French Alps announced.
Europe's most iconic train service, the Venice Simplon-Orient Express is now offering winter journeys from Paris to the French Alps. Get ready for an alpine adventure to the alpine stations of Albertville, Moûtiers or Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Ideally located for the ski resorts of Megève, Mont Blanc, Courchevel, Les Trois Vallées, and Tignes–Val d’Isère.

Paris to Albertville.
Board the iconic train at Paris Gare de Lyon for a thrilling journey, complete with breathtaking scenery of the Rhône-Alpes and pristine alpine lakes. The next day you arrive in Albertville, famous for being the first city to host the Winter Olympics in 1992.
Paris to Moûtiers.
Your ski adventure begins at Paris Gare de Lyon, where you board to find decadent wintry feasts and festive decor. Awake to the spellbinding scenery of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with its soaring, icy peaks and glacial lakes. Your arrival in charming Moûtiers, the gateway to the celebrated Les Trois Vallées, is just around the corner. Stay at Le Coucou in Méribel, that has an enviable location next to Le Rond-Point des Pistes and is one of the few spots in the French resort to enjoy a ski-in, ski-out experience.
Paris to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
