Casa Privata
Tucked away in the quiet, understated village of Praiano, Ca’ P’a Casa Privata is a sanctuary of radical peace. Once a ruined fisherman’s cottage discovered from the sea, it has been transformed into a seven-room garden estate that feels more like a private home than a hotel. Surrounded by 5,000 square meters of organic orchards and tiered gardens that tumble down to the Mediterranean, it is a place for those who want the Amalfi views without the Amalfi crowds.

Facilities
With only seven rooms, the experience here is deeply personal. Each room is a unique blend of high-domed ceilings, original frescoes, and mid-century Indonesian furniture.
The Main Villa: Five rooms are located here, including the light-flooded Rosso Amoroso junior suite and the top-floor Red Room, which boasts a private terrace with panoramic views of Capri.
The Garden Suite: Tucked away in the greenery just steps from the villa, this is the choice for ultimate privacy, featuring its own terrace leading directly into the lemon groves.
The Setting: Expect Maison Margiela linens, Aesop bath products, and a total absence of the typical "hotel" formality.
The Grounds & Pool
The Wirtz Gardens: The property’s 5,000 $m^2$ gardens were designed by the legendary landscape architect Jacques Wirtz. They are divided into formal lawns, citrus groves, and wild herbal borders.
The Pool: For those who prefer fresh water to salt, the secluded pool is surrounded by lavender and rose bushes, offering an extremely peaceful atmosphere away from the coastal breeze.
Wine & Dine
The "Bar & Kitchen" follows a strictly seasonal, organic philosophy.
Garden to Table: Most ingredients are harvested daily from the estate’s own vegetable patches and orchards.
The Dining Experience: There is no fixed dining room; instead, dinner is served wherever you find your "perfect spot"—whether that’s on the panoramic terrace or under the shade of the plane trees.
Picnics: The kitchen creates exquisite lunch hampers for guests to take down to the rocky seafront.
Dresscode

Additional Services

When to Go

How to Get There
Fly: Naples International Airport (NAP) is the primary gateway, roughly 90 minutes away.
The Schlep: Be warned—Praiano is a town of stairs. Porters will meet you at the top of the trail to handle your luggage, but a stay at Casa Privata involves a fair amount of vertical walking.
The 84 Rooms Tip: Arrive by sea if possible. A private boat transfer from Naples or Salerno directly to the Casa Privata rocks is the most cinematic (and easiest) way to start your stay.
