  • The bedroom has a king-size bed and a walk-in dressing room, and an open fireplace. All huts offer a bathroom with a separate toilet, walk-in shower, double sink, and a large bathtub with a view. Every hut has a tv, free Wi-Fi, an integrated sound system, a safe, and a minibar, and is equipped with air conditioning.

  • SPA: The rustic, open-sided treatment rooms overlook the desert. The treatments are inspired by Namibian wellness culture, with the therapists incorporating techniques that have been handed down over the centuries. The oils and spa products are made by local specialists and are full of indigenous botanicals like the Marula tree, which produces a skin-enlivening oil that’s high in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and amino acids.

  • The 15m infinity pool overlooks the scrubby savannah and distant slate-grey hills. It’s on the edge of the large sun deck near the lobby and has a line of sunloungers running along one side.

Wine & Dine

  • From breakfast through to dinner, they aim to promote the use of local and sustainable produce. Sourcing with passionate producers, and preparing simple yet distinguished dishes, reflecting a deep respect for nature and the ingredients that it gives.
  • A la carte breakfast. From fresh juices and fruit, warm baked bread with jam, granola, and health bowls, pancakes and waffles to savory dishes such as eggs, bacon, sausages, vegetables, and charcuterie, a wide selection is available.
  • Lunch is made up of mezze-style sharing plates and copious salads.
  • The pool bar can be found on the edge of the heated swimming pool overlooking the savannah.
  • The lounge bar serves refreshing homemade juices, a wide variety of cocktails, fine wines, exclusive gins, and vintage liqueurs.
  • Every evening, a refined 4-course menu is offered, including an amuse bouche, meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes.


  • Because some evenings/nights can be fresh and it can get windy in the desert, we advise you to pack a scarf, coat, hat or cap, swimsuit, lip balm, sun cream, and good shoes.

When to Go

  • With 300+ days of sun per year, Namibia is a country that can be visited all year round. The winter season starts in April and ends in September. Temperatures are between 20-25 Celsius, but evenings and nights can be fresh. October to December has little rain and average temperatures around 25 Celsius. December until the end of March can be very warm between 25-34 Celsius but chilling nights.

  • Nestled on a 9,000-hectare family-owned land, the Zannier Reserve by N/a’an ku sê is blessed with a great biodiversity of habitat and wildlife. Founded by Dr. Rudie van Vuuren and his wife Marlice, the N/a’an ku sê Foundation (meaning “God will Protect us” in the San language) aims to conserve the land, cultures, and wildlife of Namibia, and rescue species threatened by an ever-shrinking habitat. “Maintaining and promoting the fragile ecosystems remains the primary concern for the conservation teams of Zannier Reserve by N/a’an ku sê.”

How to Get There

  • Fly into Namibia’s Windhoek Hosea Kutako Airport; a direct flight from Frankfurt. Flights from major cities in the UK, US and further afield usually stop over in Johannesburg.
  • Private transfers for two are included in the all-inclusive rate; otherwise, they’re NAD1,500 each way.
